Testimonials
“My sessions with Niamh really have been transformational. Through Niamh’s gentle and non-judgmental approach, and with a lovely sprinkling of humour throughout, I felt really accepted, understood, and safe in our sessions. From this place, I have been able to heal the younger parts of myself that had been wounded and free them from the shame that they were carrying. I have also learned what my qualities are as a person and how to reconnect with, and celebrate, myself and all of my parts. It really has been a profound journey.
It has been a couple of months since our work finished, and I still find myself using the skills that Niamh has taught me to keep on slowing down and reconnecting to myself, and making space for all of my parts. I can even hear Niamh’s voice asking ‘are you in self at the moment?’
Thank you Niamh for this really profound work together. It has been an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend anyone looking for therapy to work with you.”
“Thank you so so much for being so kind and caring towards me. Having so much patience and understanding. It has allowed me to grow in confidence. You provided me with so much hope and were so encouraging and empowering. You have allowed me peace throughout one of the hardest periods of my life. It has been so liberating to not rely on others for reassurance and truly listen to myself and what I need. I am looking forward to listening to my parts on my journey going forward. You made me feel so safe and at ease every session. I was listened and respected and never judged. I would always recommend yourself to someone going through a difficult time”.
“Some doctors make you feel better as soon as you see them and Niamh is definitely in this category.
The decision to use ACT Therapy as an approach was critical. I can’t imagine a better fit for me. The sessions flew in. I was able to grasp the ACT concept fairly quickly and very much looked forward to reporting the results to Niamh. I am a late-diagnosed (62) autistic and was having difficulty with my relatively rare interactions with others. It is inarguable that I am now more active socially and considerably less troubled by the results. I’m left with the very strong impression that I have learned something extremely useful that I can continue to apply.
Niamh’s professional ethics are impeccable. Following the initial approach, had I not been happy to continue, there’s no doubt that I would have been expertly guided to another practitioner. Similarly, given that treatment does have a financial cost, the process was brought to a close when I was comfortable, but in a timely manner. I was sad that it ended, but it was also encouraging to know that I had made enough progress to go ahead on my own. Niamh is really a very high-calibre practitioner bringing with her a vast reserve of expertise and experience. This level of professional engagement means that you’re dealing with someone who has a real vocation for their work. The whole thing was a tremendously positive experience at an important point in my life.
I would recommend Niamh to anyone without the slightest hesitation.”
